Step-by-Step Guide to Access and Connect to VSCDEX

Step 1: Set Up Your Web3 Wallet (MetaMask)

If you haven’t already, you’ll need to set up MetaMask, one of the most popular Web3 wallets, to interact with the VSCDEX on the Vector Smart Chain testnet.

• Download MetaMask from the MetaMask website or via the browser extension store for Chrome, Firefox, or Brave.
• After installation, create your MetaMask wallet or import an existing one.

Step 2: Connect to Vector Smart Chain Testnet

To use VSCDEX, you need to connect your wallet to the VSC testnet. Follow these steps to add the Vector Smart Chain Testnet to MetaMask.

1. Open MetaMask and click on your account icon in the top right corner.
2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
3. Go to the Networks tab and click Add Network.
4. Enter the following details:
   • Network Name: Vector Smart Chain Testnet
   • New RPC URL: https://testnet-rpc.vsgofficial.com
   • Chain ID: 420044
   • Currency Symbol: VSG
   • Block Explorer URL: https://testnet-scan.vsgofficial.com
5. Click Save to add the network.
6. Switch to the Vector Smart Chain Testnet from the network dropdown.

Step 3: Access the VSCDEX DApp

1. Visit the VSCDEX DApp at https://vscdex.io in your browser.
2. Once on the VSCDEX page, click the Connect Wallet button in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Select MetaMask from the list of wallets.
4. A MetaMask window will pop up asking for your confirmation. Select your account and click Connect.

Step 4: Explore VSCDEX Features

Now that your wallet is connected to VSCDEX, you can explore the following key features:

• Swapping Tokens:
  1. Select the token pair you’d like to swap by choosing a token from the dropdown menu.
  2. Enter the amount you wish to swap, and click Swap.
  3. Confirm the transaction in MetaMask.
• Providing Liquidity:
  1. Navigate to the Liquidity section on VSCDEX.
  2. Choose two tokens to provide as liquidity.
  3. Enter the amount for each token and click Supply.
  4. Confirm the transaction in MetaMask.
  5. You’ll receive Liquidity Pool (LP) tokens in return, which represent your share of the pool.
• Staking:
  1. If staking pools are available, navigate to the Staking section.
  2. Choose the pool you want to stake in and deposit your tokens.
  3. Confirm the transaction in MetaMask.

Step 5: Track Your Transactions on the Block Explorer

After performing swaps, adding liquidity, or staking, you can view the transaction status on the VSC Block Explorer:

• Visit https://testnet-scan.vsgofficial.com.
• Enter your wallet address or transaction hash to track your activity on the testnet.
